I'm sort of a book junkie but would recommend that if you get a chance you thumb through several books before choosing one-- if you go that route. Some of the techniques are a little different--so you might prefer one over the other. It's not that one is necessarily better, just different. ... like all the beautiful ones posted here. There are quite a few different books....

I have a lot of trouble understanding and following patterns so the pictures are inspiration but following a pattern doesn't work for me.Even those times when I start with one I always end of modifying or changing half way through..

My neighbor (quilt buddy) coincidentally sent me a note about that tv program this morning. The name was Photo Landscapes Series 500 ‐ Create your own patterns from your photos... Demonstrator – Jennifer O’Brien....

This woman is involved with company making the 505 and other adhesive sprays. It's on web, but I can't get to it for link.
