I sure will. When I received the letter in the mail, my husband asked who I knew in Canada. I didn't know anybody. Now I do. This is great. Now not only do I know someoneelse who loves quilting but I also know someone who lives in another country! My quilting girls will be as excited as I am. Thanks again.

This is a beautiful quilt...it has brought back fond memories of the one time I have dared to go in one...we watched the sunrise over the valley of the kings in Egypt...amazing experience - stunning views and as all the locals don't have any roofs on their houses due to tax avoidance, I was so fascinated by all the people lay in bed, waking up as we passed and waving at us!! We had a crash landing too....in some poor farmers animal pen!!!!!! :D  We all did a dance when we climbed out to send our prayers to the gods for getting us down safely :?

That is a lovely quilt top! I just used a blue hot air balloon print for the back of a king size quilt. It is one of those 108" wide backing fabrics. I was wondering if you found it for the back of your quilt too?

How did the quilt show go?

Hello ladies, Sorry I haven't answered any of these questions but they came in on my bulk mail.(Guess I will have to fix that) I showed the quilt and didn't win any thing on it. Did get to see a young mother take pictures of her kids in front of it.That was cool. Took third place on my double wedding ring though. That was exciting. I have it all tucked away for now along with the picture mamagus sent me.

No. I haven't seen that kind of backing. I used some balloons to fill in the gaps off of some material I found at the last minute. Would have liked that, if I could have found some. Since Wal-Mart took the fabric out of our store I have been lost.

Hi Izy, What an experience! I can only imagine flying in one. I am scared of heights. Anticipating that crash landing I think. I just think they are so pretty.
