    Here is a picture of my rotating cutting mat. My boyfriend made it with a 12" lazy susan from Rockler and also with a piece of board he cut. It measures 15 and 1/2" in diameter.
    Then I cut the old mat and glued it on.

    Great idea !!! I bought a 17" rotating mat. My imagination sometimes holds me back.

    My husband made me one too and we are going to use the back side of an old cutting mat on it. I don't need the measuring lines since I will be using it to square blocks. It is still in the workshop waiting for another coat of urethane (I must get that done).

    I want one!!! Your DH should market that as a new quilting tool!!

    I have kept him for 52 years. No sense of getting rid of him now. Would have to housebreak another one.
