    Good idea, which I have done. Looks like blue gets the nod, but the green isn't bad. I happen to have the green, but would need to purchase more blue . . . Think I'll go ahead with the blue, though. I think it looks a little "classier" for some reason . . . and it's going to a classy lady.

    Wonderful quilt!
    I vote blue for a more finished look. I think the green would pull your eyes to the edge instead of focusing on the quilt. When I can't decide, I lay each color under the quilt with just the "binding" amount peeking out. I put one color on each side and include a corner. That way I can get a good idea of how it will look.

    I think the green. You would then be carrying the colours through. It's a very unusual quilt, I haven'e seen anything with baloons before.

    What a darling quilt! I vote blue also. I think the darker color would frame the quilt nicely.

    All done . . . Here it is and the label as well. The hot air balloon on the label is edited from a picture of the groom's hot air balloon. He's actually in it.
