That is so sweet! But I had an eight week old kitten EAT one of my finches. Her name was Trouble (any wonder?) and she knocked the cage off the shelf and ate my poor baby while I was in class. All I found of the bird was a feather stuck to a piece of paper with blood. I was so mad at that cat.

Those pictures are so sweet. However, having raised exotic birds for 23 years (not any more), a cat scratch for a bird can be fatal. They have a bacteria called pasteurella and a scratch from the claw can transmit that bacteria. Just a word of caution.
