Little rag quilts!
#36
Thank you for the nice comments, everyone! You made my day.
I am a beginner in quilting! These were projects 2-4. They are very simple. The most time consuming part was cutting the squares and placing them where I wanted! I really starched my flannel first and the squares in layers of three were easy to sew together--no sliding! I used a $15 pair of Fiskars snips for the seams and they worked perfectly! I snipped as long as an hour and a half at a time and my hand did not hurt.
Someone else asked about the cotton and how it frays--it doesn't fray as rapidly as the flannel, but it is still really cute. It still looks plenty "raggy" with the other layers of flannel. I just couldn't find the colors I wanted in flannel.
