I just did it as an example, it's not something I'm making since I will be doing the BOM.

Adding up all the yardage it could be done with 20 fat quarters, at the most, and less if you get a 1 1/2 yds for background, plus the sashing and borders.

I have a 40 FQ set of Luna Notte that I am thinking of using but haven't decided yet.

So, if I want a consistent sky in my blocks then I could be looking for the fabric for that, right? Any suggestions? Enable me, I'm an easy target! :-D

Meesabell, This is very serious, so concentrate:

Never pass up an opportunity (or reason or excuse) to buy fabric.

My work here is done.

The only thing that I'd probably want to keep consistent is the sky/background. If all the houses are different there would be very little of each fabric needed.
Quiltmaker has had a four part series called Meet Me at the Manor. They have a really neat layout and the color selections are pretty too

Now that you have my attention I will let you know that I will dangerously be following every suggestion or comment you make. I hope you can handle that sort of power.
