I made these too. The book just jumped out and grabbed me! I am a hand applique enthusiast so this is my first attempt at machine. I have all the pieces cut and fused, just need to sew them down. Retreat comming up in February seems like a good concentrated time for that. Yours look a lot different from mine based on background and fabric choices and that is what makes this so cool!

Those are so cute! And, you're much better at applique than I. I tried it and it's a no go. It's okay if you look at it from across a very large banquet room. Great job!
