The baby will love the bright bold colors --I've been told babies do not "see" the pale pastels, which the teacher said is why babies always reach for the person with the bright red sweater. This bit of info was imparted 50 years ago and over the years, it does seem to hold true???

For lack of a real name I have always called your "flange" borders "foldy borders" (MY cat's name is Kitten. Getting the trend?) Anyway, I use these alot. I love them. Your quilt is gorgeous.

Hi Kathy, I love your quilt! When my only niece was born, 30 years ago, I made her a little sunshine and Shadow baby quilt. Now, she is into quilting, big time! What a joy!
