I think that those fabrics are considered "collectible." I've seen people mention that fabric line on other forums and people are always looking for them. Once they are out of print, if they are in demand... anything goes!

I surely hope that the buyers of these "expensive" fabrics will place them in a time capsule, cause no one would believe what they spent on them. These are NOT Picasso. So what is the big interest and price. Makes no sense to me.

I checked out this auction and the starting bid was 99.00. Unbelievable that anyone would even start a bid for vintage fabric for that price.

they can have it. I saw a fat quarter what would have been almost $10 with shipping. That stayed there too.

I think it's a great price considering the "cutter person" & "sewer person" come included !!!!!
Must be something we are missing.....

Hey I have a bunch of that fabric in my stash....I may be vintage but the fabric isn't. Does this make me rich now since I have all this spendy fabric on the shelves??

I have some of those, paid $4.00 yd about 3 years ago. On ebay. Now I am searching for the seller to see if she has more. If I spent that much on fabric, you might as well shoot me cuz that is exactly what my DH would do!
