I just read my PM and got the May birthday information. I had an ER visit over the weekend and got home last night. I'll be sure to send out those candies so they arrive by birthday time. For now, I'll catch up up on some posts and recuperate.

Pinkflowers, Are you OK? Well I assume you are kind of OK since you are home. No details needed just glad you back home and ready to catch up on QB posts. Take care. ((hugs))
I dropped my envelope off this afternoon at the post office. Should arrive in plenty of time for our May birthday.

Hi all. I just returned last night from business travel and will put the May birthday candies in the mail tomorrow.
Pinkflowers, I hope you are on the mend.
Today was the first day of my company's annual 3-day meeting where everyone comes in from out of town for meetings, trainings, etc. Saturday is the big meeting during the day, followed by a dinner and party. It's a lot of socializing, which makes me generally anxious. I'm happiest at home with my sewing machine, books and dog.
A few weekends ago I cleaned out all the pots on my front walk and back deck so they're all ready for planting. I'm hoping to plant geraniums and lobelia after church on Sunday. It's still a little chilly at night but I think they'll survive. Then I have to turn my attention to cleaning up a little patch on the side of my house where I plant tomatoes so it'll be ready when the time comes.
Hope all is well with everyone. Looking forward to 2.5 day - you guys always post the best pictures!

JulieG, you surely have a busy few days ahead! The items on your list seems so very doable. I did not know what lobelia looks like so I slipped away to check with my friend Mr. Google. Pretty spikes of flowers. Wondering what color you will be planting? Since you mentioned geraniums and the first color that popped in my head was the traditional red, perhaps your lobelia will be blue?
Yes, yes, yes, I hope some of you are working on a 2.5 day project and will share it with us. I spent some time stitching along on mine this afternoon. Why is it the last two rows seem to take longer than the first two? I should have the top finished tomorrow. Next month perhaps it will be quilted and bound. I have already picked out my next 2.5. It is a white and color checkerboard "on point". I saw saw an example on FB and saved the photo as an idea for the future. Shifting the simple pattern to "on point" makes it look like a quilt of diamonds. Diamonds are forever, don't ya know!
