It's 77 here now but the dewpoint is 71 so it's really humid. Thank you for putting the bookmark tute up. It's a great idea for a little gift.

I came home today and found Dwina's package in my mailbox. What a great swap. It's a really different needlecase and love the chicken fabric. You did good for your first swap and hope you plan on being a regular. Thanks again.

That is a very pretty needle case. I love also how she did fancy stitching on the felt, and the little button closure. The chicken fabric is adorable, and ummm those pizza sticks look yummy.

Dwina you did a great job. We need your talent on here!

How cute is that needlecase? At first I thought it was a embroidery hoop with the rooster in it. I thought that was cute, but then I seen it opened and wow.Good choice of fabrics too. Alright I think Karen said that was the last one to finish this month. And it's only the 20th.

One more pincushion was mailed yesterday. That's it.

There is still the pincushion I made. The needle case is made with plastic tops from sour cream, dip, yogurt, etc., then covered with batting and fabric.

Lynnie, I can hear you but can't see you to whisper what I am making for October, will tell you it's going to be Purple, need to see who's name I get before I decide how I want to do this...

Temperatures here are the highest they have been today, since 1911, 3 digits... and the heat index is worse...

Gail and I went to our Guild meeting today, and we had a great meeting, then to lunch where we met two gals that visited our guild meeting and they were really impressed. The one was a designer and she is also marketing director for an online Quilt magazine called The Quilt Pattern... nice gals... long day though... and very hot in and out of the car....Hot weather for the rest of the week...UGH....

It wasn't quite as hot here as you Rosemary, but it was hot! High heat index. Sounds like you had a nice day other than the weather. That's good.
