Letsquilt got a lovely swap package from Jan R.! I love the birdhouse mug rug -- very springy! I sometimes hear the birds outside during the winter. I wonder where they hide when it's snowing. We have several birdhouses in the back & side yards but I don't think they're inhabited.

What a nice package Jan Rutheford put together for Letsquilt! I love all the special things she made, especially the birdhouse mug rug.

Whigrose,
I've been in the rabbit hole of vintage machines for a while...lol..
I inherited my great grandma's vintage Singer treadle in the original cabinet years ago. I've since acquired a few different vintage machines. That post was regarding a machine my dh actually spotted at a local thrift store. I wasn't interested in buying it, but the decals on it were some I'd never seen...so my curiosity (translate: nosiness) got the better of me, and I took pics to post and pick the brains of our awesome vintage machines peeps here on QB.

Nice pkg Jan R sent! I'm praying all who are sick feel better soon! And those in the snowy icy weather stay safe and as warm as possible!
We've had a few days of beautiful weather...but it's just started snowing again. Supposed to snow for the next 2 days, 1 day cold and no snow, then right back to snow. From this 1st storm, weatherman predicts 8" or so of snow..of course living in the country drifts are deeper. I'm trying to look on the bright side: we need moisture.
Regards,
Kif

For those of you who do not have snow, I'm sharing what's outside my back door:

You scored with the snow lol. Its one of my favorite things to look out to see but when I have to go out in it its another story. no thanks! it looks like a Christmas card is what it looks like. Not what your wanting to see as the months go. We got snow all the way through May last year so hoping this year its a little less often. We had it the other night but it was just a couple inches at best. I like that more

have you signed up for the new swap? if not.. run on over and get in the action with us! Giving out names in just a couple days so watch for partners! run! quick! we would love to have you again!
