I sent a PM, but just in case, I'd like to change one of the block sets I originally chose. I didn't notice at the time how close they are in appearance. (That's what I get for trying to choose a block at 6am! LOL!)

Anyway, I'll be doing:

Brasstown Star - hot pink
Hole in the Barn Door - turquoise

The Brasstown Star blocks are finished ... just need ironing and squaring ... and I should be able to finish the Hole in the Barn Door blocks tomorrow or so. I'll snap some photos when they're done.

I ran out of one of my fabrics part way through the Brasstown Star blocks, so they're not all identical, but hopefully they'll be okay. :)

I've made these changes to the activity page. It's not necessary that the blocks be in identical fabrics, just that all 12 be in the same pattern.

I promise I'll be a good foster mom to them while they are here.

LOL, your too cute Dagny. Thanks for showing them love... but I'll have to get them in the envelope first and that will be the hardest part.

Is anyone else feeling this way about their blocks or am I just a softy?

I was just pressing mine today to get ready to send them. I thought I would wait until after Dagny sends out all the Batik blocks she has and then I'd mail these in. I was thinking as I pressed them how hard it will be to send them away as I really, really love them. But from what I've seen posted, we will be getting a lot of great blocks in return.

Bless you, Judy. We have twice as many participants in this swap than in the batik swap.

My two sets are finished, except for ironing and squaring. Yay!

Pink: Brasstown Star (had to use two fabrics because I ran out of the lighter pink - both are shown)

Turquoise - Hole in the Barn Door

Hope they're okay. And that they're bright enough (LOL!). :)
