I love the pansy prints - but the differing colors of purple and blue can be very different and clash. If you could send a piece of the color you would like, we could match as best as possible, otherwise I would say use the yellow since that ties them all together and you could use purple for sashing.

I try to stock up on WOW and BOB whenever there is a sale. I also try to keep marbled fabric in my stash for these swaps.
Printing out patterns I want to try!!

Thanks for the sweet words ladies I'm pleased with how it came out I'll be giving it to grandma to deliver to her at the end of this month.

Joan I love fabric4less.com I know buying a whole bolt is not for everybody but at $5 a yard even for batiks and less than $6 a yard for wide backs it is always worth looking.

JC I think that is a good idea, did it in another swap and I was very happy with the results. This is the fabric I am having the problem with, several have white backgrounds, 3 have yellow and three have purple backgrounds and I will need a sashing color. Driving myself crazy. Wish now I had just picked one fabric

Nahhh... I think it will turn out really pretty. With the blocks with the white back ground people can use the lavender as back ground fabric or lets say a star and the white with dots as back ground. I actually think a variety of purples and lavender will look better together then all kinds of different yellows but it all depends on what appeals to you.

Have you thought about just adding a Fat 8 of purple and or yellow to the ones with the white back ground and ask people to use only that color plus WOW. Then for the other ones ask only WOW. this way you could control the other colors. Just a thought.

Just an FYI that I'm waiting to hear from one 2 month group member to see if she wishes to stick with one block each or double up. I hope to hear from her tonight, if not, I'll call her tomorrow. As for the three month group, there are 19 members so everyone will need 18 f8s for that group.

Shortly after I get a response from the last person, I'll post groups, member names and fabric counts. Will be in touch!

Billie have you used the "store" associated with Fabric for less? I checked out their web site but I thought their prices were higher, esp with shipping, than I could get around here. I agree you cant beat their prices on full bolts and they have thousands of bolts for sale. I think Ive bought 6 from them in the past couple of years...I lose track of time when Im browsing their web site! Ive put fabric on the "wish list" before and when I go back to order it its already sold out! LOL

No I have not been in an actual store the site I visit

    http://fabric4less.com/
You can only buy by the bolt and I can spend hours on the site. even with shipping I can't come close to those prices in a store.

One of the pictures of blocks I saved would look great in these fabrics.
