O.K. Here is my block. Had to stop to go and get 10 dozen ears of silver queen corn and 2 1/2 bushels of speckled butter beans. Takes time to shuck the corn, wash it, cream it and blanch it, bag it and put it in the freezer. Next, shell, shell, shell and shell butter beans, blanch them and put some in the freezer and canned the rest. Whew!! I am exhausted!!!! Now to get on to finishing my blocks and to get them in the mail by July 1st.

I went back to look at the due date and it says July 15th. Is it still the 15th???? I don't know where I got the 1st.

June 30th is the signup deadline; the mail date is July 15th. The block is great! It's a nice pattern choice for batik and a good use of the purple fabrics.

Thank goodness!!!! This gives me more time than I thought I had!!!! I have different blocks and differnt fabric colors that I might try also.
