Thanks! But I just noticed that I have two similar owls only one block apart on the lower left. As many times as I looked at the block, I didn't see it until now. I dislike when that happens.

Libster, you know I'm a traditional star type gal but since people were doing something less traditional, this one is my take on it. It wasn't a bit hard, just tedious, especially for me who wants to manipulate the fabric instead of letting the machine just do it's thing. I had to be way more hands off, or rather more light-fingered. I think I finally got it. Let the machine guide the fabric. How many years have I been fighting that? LOL

NanaKathy, great blocks, especially the Coxey's Camp. Like your soft yellow in Terriamn's as well. I haven't found a suitable yellow yet so I might just have to do a two fabric block.

I could have sworn I thanked you, NK, for this block but I cannot find it so my apologies. This is not something I would have thought of, the different blacks, but I love it! Thank you!

Janice the block looks great, I don't remember ever seeing that one before. Thank you so much. I'm sorry you had such a hard time with the brown....and I thought chocolate brown would be so easy, like black and white

You might have more success w/ a soft yellow by using the back side of the yellow fabric. Still not quoting so this was in response to Janice

Jaba, I thought it would be a piece of cake. The browns in the shops were either too red or way too green. Weird. In any case, problem solved from my own stash. Glad you like it. c
