If you want to add some pink and a black binding after that, it would look good.

Is that a strip on the left side? could it be taken off and sided down just a little and sewed back on and go from there. It does show a very small wow but I relly think it looks workable hon. It is very beautiful. I had one do the same to be recently and felt just as helpless. It really is very beautiful and your doing a great job. (((hugs)))

I dont see anything wrong at all from this distance/angle - I do hope you finish it. If it really bothers you then you can try and square it up but I say 'sew free & sew modern' quilt outside the lines and all that ;-) I think it's lovely just the way it is. I prefer quilts that have a little character.

Pretend that the right & left pink borders aren't there, and measure the remaining piece at the top, through the center and at the bottom. Are they all the same measurement? Perhaps it's out of square and not the border?

Everytime you look at the quilt, the errors will jump up and smack you in the face. You have to fix them or hate the quilt forever. I'd say, take off the two dark pink side borders. Add a fairly narrow lighter pink border all the way around and then the dark pink. If you cut it wrong, and that is why it is narrow at the top, cut another one. If you don't have the fabric to cut another, cut the other borders down to that narrow width and sew them back on. You've obviously put lots of time and skill into it so far, hang in there and you'll be proud you did.
