It is early this year...isn't it? Usually it is around the 20th of the month (remember as it is the date of sister birthday)

Holy cats, I better get out there and shovel before it gets here! We had snow last night and the last thing my husband said to me last night was "Can you take the car to the carwash tomorrow morning?" "Sure", I said! We lost a lot of snow yesterday after the day before's snow and with the sun being so high, it is thawing good! Then we got it again late last night. DST. I like that it is lighter an hour later. That does my soul good right now in the doldrums. And, guess what? Spring comes a week later? Now, can you beat that one? Two in a week!!!!!!!! Then I can start my Spring cleaning! Another sign. The only thing is that there is so much snow and piles in the back yard, I cannot get to the clothesline! We have four foot piles of snow out there, not to mention doggie doo-doo that Miss Bess deposited in the throes of the snow storms. I forgot how to do the Doggie-Doo-Doo Two Step! Oh well, I'll either get it with the scoop or wait til it piles up. Yah, right! Can't stand to have anyone come in our yard with a deposit either sitting in the back yard on the grass or in the snow. And then when the snow is gone we have "Gerkonernachen" (pronounced ger-konner-knocken). There was a Golden Girls show where Rose Nyland mentioned that word in reference to Dorothy - Gerkonernachen (supposedly a Swedish word from Minnesota - haha) is the precise moment when dog poop turns white! Believe it or not, that word is now in my vocabulary and comes in handy quite often!!!!!!!

Back to DST - I am glad it is almost upon us. I love DST! Wish it could stay all year round. Morning dark doesn't bother me. Evening dark does.

    Enjoy the day. Edie

I'll believe the snow quits when I DON'T see it anymore.

Wonder why AZ doesn't participate in DST? I wish they would just leave it alone-one way or the other. If you want more daylight- just get up earlier--DUH!! lol

A title like that should require a pregnancy, at least.
