I sometimes get really really itchy hands for no reason and then I will have these little bumps from scratching. My late sister also had the same problem with her hands and feet, and my youngest sister and her daughter also has this. My late sisters doctor told her she had something called Disharosis or something like that. Mine doesn't itch very often luckily. I just put baby lotion on mine and that helps for the most part.

I had this happen about a year and a half ago. I switched to scent-free drier sheets and it cleared up. But interestingly enough, when I babysat the young grandkids and was holding them, it acted up again. I had never had a problem with allergies before. I'm pretty sure it was the fabric softener sheets.

My GM use to tell me that if your right hand was itching, you were going to shake hands with a stranger, the left, you were coming into money. My DH has allergies and has his hands itching too, but it's not the palm, his is between his fingers. If it doesn't stop soon, I would sugest, a DR. visit.

I have carpal tunnel & that is a symptom. Sometimes I just want to get at them with sandpaper!
