    I'd like to see a green-white-green border just like your sashing. But don't know what to suggest for an outer border unless you want to use more of the tan.

    Or you could do a green-white (like the sashing) and finish with a wide green border. I would keep the outer border subtle so as not to detract from the beauty of your center. Your flowers are gorgeous.

    O.K. So I've read all the other suggestions, & I just kept thinking 4 inch multi-colored floral border, just not so big a print as to compete with the quilt just enhance it!
    O & BTW I agree with hubby, those are some angry pansies!
    LOL! Really a BEAUTIFUL quilt! Wish my work turned out that nice when I'm sick!

    This idea sounds great. I agree with other comments about first finishing the edges with the narrow green border. The green was a GOOD choice:)

    I think we all learn lessons with every quilt we make!! And I love yours!!

    I also love this quilt....very wonderful applique work. I think the pansies are too cute, angry or not!! :-)
