Very pretty - I'll be anxious to follow along with you to the finished product - the Hunters Star is on my list of quilts "to do".

It's a beautiful quilt. I too am making this pattern! I have chosen batik's in dark blue and light blue. It's really a fun quilt to make. I sat through a demonstration on how to pp but chose to go the other direction.

Oh my gosh, it's going to be gorgeous....and in so much as perfect....I can't see a single flaw. I know we all tend to get in that perfectionist mode, but someone told me recently the teenie flaws we sewers see as we work the project are never seen by someone viewing it in its completed state. Keep up the great work.....

Thanks so much, my friend & I meet once a week to do hand applique and we bring our things to show each other, well she brought here hunter's star and it was stunning. Well a gal working there was a judge for quilts and she looked at it and started picking at it telling her, well if you did this and you did that!!!! My friend told her I didn't ask you and I made my quilt my way. She took a class for here's with a new ruler they came out with and it was perfect to me??
