    I'm not exactly sure what you mean except that for a long time I would piece blocks together that a professional embroierer would do. Most of them where cute alphabet blocks for children. I on the other hand would make rail fence tops and use redwork embroidery designs to "quilt" it. Cats were on the top of the list. I will look thru some old pics if you are interested, just pm me.
