That's just what I thought.

Very nice, and flowers are always a hit. Is there a pattern for these? Trying to think what size blocks were used.
Very pretty.

I hope so, esp. for craft shows--something unique. I'm thinking others, maybe even some quilters, won't want to bother with buying so many florals to work with for the effect.

Hi horseowner!! I'm one too! :D Log cabin patterns are everywhere, so that's nothing new. I did tweak a pattern so it was more to my liking, but I think they'll all look the nice once done. The floral idea--watercolor and scrappy--is more mine, but that's not a marketable item, more a gut feeling. I hate to write in a pattern "Go buy 60-70 different florals of various colors--1/4 yard each AND 15 different light greens with leaves, maybe a light yellow--1/4 yard of each."

Very pretty.
The blocks are 6.5" before sewn together. Any log cabin pattern will do--if you want curves, just make the light side more narrow. I like the pattern I came up with because I can stop adding strips when I'm at the size I want--and it looks good. But--any pattern will do. ;)
