I stopped buying Wal-Mart as the quality was really going down hill. But lately I'm seeing some of the newer styles being a better quality. The fqs and jelly rolls are still very thin.
Barb the fqs and jelly rolls I got here in Indiana were just like the ones I bought at a quilt shop and same quality. So maybe it depends on the one you get.

So glad to hear it!!!! Even after they've remodeled? I live within 3 stores, very closest doesn't carry anymore but 1 fartherest away still does. So when I'm in that area, I'll go in.....

    Thanks for info...

My friend at ours said we wont lose our Fabric in Greenville or Travelers Rest,SC. I am so happy. I have gotten hundreds of yards of fabric in my stash just in case an of course can always get more. Especially the fabric that goes with one of their monthly patterns. Yea WM!!

The store here in Pahrump, NV did not close the fabric dept and I have noticed in the last few weeks beautiful collections going up on the shelves. The also have cotton batting now.

our walmart never lost it's fabric, it was cut back quite a bit. I am looking forward to them getting fabric back once again. Walmart is the only fabric place in my area and it is an hours drive one way. It will be worth it once our fabric dept is expanded again. Thank you for the info

They took ours out last year during a remodel, but gave us out fabric back two months later! Not quite as much, but at least we still have it! So listen up, WalMart execs: quit messing with us! Keep our fabric departments!
