Hi Everyone,
I hope you don't mind if I answer your questions lumped all together.

The pattern was just made up as I went along. The blocks in the center main parts were left over from a quilt I made for charity. Tote bags are pretty simply shaped and I have made many purses... so I just used a little of this and that from what I know.

The fabrics are mostly a gift from a friend who has now passed away. There was no edges on any of the fabrics kitty gave me, save one. It says Robert Kaufman. And that particular one isn't used in this bag. I am so sorry that is all the information I can give you. Maybe someone on the board can reccognize it and let you know who made this fabric?? I sure hope so.

Thank you all for such positive responses. I do value your oponions.

I was thinking of making my sister in law one. But, I don't think there is enough fabric left to make it in black. Do you think a light beige one would be ok? I have this main fabric in the center of the purse in cream.

Love your tote. Would have loved to have one when I was golfing. She will be the "star" on the course.
