I bought 2 lifts from Debbie Umphress and they work well.
I use for piecing, but remove for the limited machine quilting that I do.
I have several friends who use 2 or 3 door stops and that works just as well.

I keep forgetting to do that, but one idea I received was to take two door stoppers and place them at the back of the machine to tip it forward. When I remember to do it, it has worked well. I keep moving my machine and forget to put them back.
