Beautiful, but why is it called William Morris? I had a 5 great grand father with that name.

WILLIAM MORRIS is the name of the man. He was a weaver, illuminator, typegrapher, and designer of stained glass, tiles, furniture, tapestries and carpets. After 100 years WILLIAM MORRIS continues to influence craftspeople and fabric designers.
The name of the quilt piece is titled: FRIENDS

That's so pretty. I'm not sure why, but it reminds me of the Crown Imperials that used to grow in the garden when I was a kid. Can't wait to see this finished.
