    Beautiful! My sister has a dinnerplate hibiscus that dies clear back in the fall and comes back up in the summer (about June).

    Beautiful and a wonderful photo. I am used to this kind of hibiscus in Florida and did not know it grew like this in Canada. We have a different type in North Carolina. Also very pretty.

    The Hawaii State Flower is the Yellow Hibiscus. If you want to enjoy your blossom indoors, then you can pick an unopened bud (but are sure that the blossom will open that day), lay it on a countertop without water and it will open. Sad but the blossom last only for a day. There are numerous varieties and colors of hibiscus.

    Gorgeous! We don't usually see that color down here. Red, yellow, or peachy/orange here mostly. Great pic ;-)
