Hi there and welcome from West Ga! My daughter thought that since I'm retired I have a lot of time to take her kids from here to there....not really ! I just started quilting earlier this year and also joined the board earlier,love both !

I laugh when I call myself a "quilter" because actually I haven't yet quilted anything....took classes, have made 3 tops and planning a 4th......can't really afford to pay for a long arm quilter person so I played quilting on my machine this week and it looks passable....always good excuse if you are new to quilting.

I don't have kids at home but live in a small apt and I use my dining room/breakfast room table to sew on and have another table I cut on....you can do it !
