I bow down to a far superior snow fall than we got. It was only about an inch or inch and a half, maybe, here. Any amount this early is just NOT acceptable.

It was a beautiful snow, but like you we have trees and branches all over. You could just sit inside and hear the branches crack and then fall off. The Bradford pears were really hit hard.

You are right! It was beautiful, but a very heavy snow. Would have been perfect for building a snowman (if I had had my boots with me at the retreat)! One of the ladys had a branch come down on her car, and when I was headed home, had to dodge branches all the way up the rural road to my house.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful pic.

We only had a couple here upon the ridge of Moundsville, WV on Saturday morning and it just about flurried all day.

It sure is beautiful! We usually don't get snow in KY until December. I am not a fan of winter. Stay warm!

We went to Pa for a memorial service in Blu Bell Sat. am, couldn't make it home, so stayed the night in Plymouth Meeting. At least we got 2 fresh cookies at Doubletree. Trip home yesterday was fine.

Still no power, but the electric company is hoping to get us back on the grid by 11 PM tonight (an upgrade from 4 PM tomorrow!). They are working SO hard in our area, as so many people are without power and the night temps are getting into the low 30s.

On another note, I had this strange feeling this morning that I was being watched. I looked out my back window and saw... Certainly a very strange site on Halloween!
