Welcome from northwest Iowa, where the temps are falling, and so is the rain, soon to be snow if the forecasters have it right. Just now, I wish we lived in the southern half of the country. piecefully, the old one

I used to live in Hampstead when I first moved to NC in 2006, then I bought a house in Riegelwood, just outside of Wilmington but I've moved back to Oklahoma! My son still lives in my house in Riegelwood. I miss living by the ocean. I used to go to a quilt shop on the highway to Jacksonville, it was in a little house but I can't remember the name of the shop. I also visited a shop just inside of Jacksonville called Cotton Patch, I think, that had so much fabric it was sitting in the aisles. And, I used to go to the shop in Fayetteville called Loving Stitches. And, not to mention the shops in Cary, NC. My only regret is that I never made it to the HUGE fabric store in Charlotte. And two of my favorite yarn shops are out that way, one was in Pawley's Island and the other in N. Myrtle Beach called Kntting up a Storm. I miss NC!

    Welcome to the board!
