Not quite sure where you think there are problems - looks great. One of the first quilts I did was a lone star - like many other things, didn't know it was supposed to be difficult. Now the log cabin I'm working on...that's a different story!

I'm lucky the problems do not show. However, I did more ripping seams on this quilt than I've ever done before--one whole batch of strips was put together and then I cut on the 60degree line instead of the 45! They did NOT fit! (I wondered why the pattern had called for extra strips of each color -- Was I ever glad to have them!) I am happy with it and will probably try a bigger one. What is so frustrating to me is how when I think I am being so very careful, the seams still do not come out exactly like they should. This pattern is not as forgiving as some. Glad folks have enjoyed it.

It's super, give yourself some time, you'll get the urge to do another. I helped finish a Double Wedding Star quilt with friends, 1882 pcs, not including borders, setting points etc. A long weekend marathon, I swore I'd never do that again, although it was a fun weekend. That was mere months ago, now I think I'm ready to tackle another one, but on a smaller scale. (not queen size)
