How nice is that? Now you can finish what she started and snuggle under it with nice warm thoughts of her!! That's a wonderful gift!!

Default I'm Christmas Green with envy.

Not that I need anymore fabric but I wished I had been recipient of my paternal grandma and 2 aunts fabric stashes when they died. Ah, well my own grandkids will get quite the stash. Some years ago I took a trip back to Washington DC to visit my sister who was living back there. I thought I would make it a cost-cutting adventure an do it on the bus from Salt Lake City. It was an adventure alright! Somewhere in a little spot on the map we spent about an hour and there was a REAL bag lady sitting on the seats surrounded by bags of the most gorgeous selection of vintage fabrics I have ever seen. I walked over to her and commented I was a quilter and admired her stash. She looked up at me with a wild look and started hugging her bags to her. I realized she saw me as a threat and so I went some distance away. Poor thing. Her collection probably ended up in some garbage dump. Sorry for going on so. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.
