You are doing a fine job and should be able to sell your work. Go to one of the publishing sites and ask if they are interested. I understand www.quiltwoman.com buys some patterns.

My daughter has a portugese water dog who I am in love with. Not sure if I can do this work, it looks difficult. But I would definitely try.

I love your dog patterns!! I definitely think they would sell. I work part time in a quilt shop (which by NO means makes me any kind of an authority -- I just see the prices of all kinds of things coming in), and I was thinking in the $12 - $15 range. Anxious to see the doxie, too.

I think the pattern is PERFECT-- and does not need more definition because that is the way a yorkie looks. I would pay $10. for your pattern if I were in the market for a yorkie pattern. It is great and you do wonderful work!

That is fantastic! It looks so real! I would definitely buy one of your patterns to do of my pet and would probably pay from10 to 15.

[QUOTE=Katydid2;4928983]Not being an owner of either a scotty or a yorki - I think I would like to see a little more definition between face/head and body. That said - when are you going to do a daschund??? Longhair, wirehair or even smooth coat. Your work is AMAZING!!![/Q

We have a miniature Yorkie....he's staying with my parents while were in Germany... in real life there is no definition from the face to the body they are so fluffy and furry!! I love this quilt, my kids would go over the moon because they do miss bear so I would pay. People have emotion attachments to their pets. Not ever doing anything like that I wouldn't expect to pay more then 10 unless it has templates in it....I have never done this sort of quilt so I don't know how its constructed.

Very cute pattern. If I had that kind of a dog, I would certainly buy the pattern. But I have a Sheltie and could use a pattern for him.

Since I have a yorkie, I would snatch this up in a minute.

You are very talented. How clear are the instructions? The trouble with dogs is that there are SO many breeds and everyone wants one that looks like their dog. Whereas a cat is a cat but perhaps of different color and an eagle is an eagle. I don't mean to discourage you because if you did a nice yellow labrador retriever I would be interested. Price? maybe $10-15. I wish you good luck on your endeavor.
