Default the finished quilt

here is a picture of the finished quilt---and someone asked about her fabric stash----she is a (fabric freak!) (her description not mine)
she started collecting fabric when she was about 3---everytime the parents took her to any store with fabric that little girl would throw fits if she could not have at least a fat quarter---sometimes she got away with more-
by the time she started putting her fabrics together into quilts she had her own box of fabrics- and even though my fabric shelves were always available----boy-no one better help themselves to a piece of her fabric!!!
this quilt was the first one i let her quilt herself- she actually created and pieced her first quilt as a gift to her daddy when he deployed--she was 4! i quilted & bound that one...but she did all of the layout- cutting & sewing.
anyhow- here's this one finished....

From someone who was taught by his grandmother, and great aunts, trust me.......she will remember this forever. And, when the time comes, sooner or later, she will be continuing this tradition. You are such a good grandma to teach her! Kudos to all!
