I found out about Thousands of Pyramids as I was finishing this quilt. I think it would be spectacular in that pattern as well. This fabric is just special. I had read about OBWs, etc., and just thought when I find the perfect fabric, I will practice. This just screamed out to take me home.

For those who need incentive, I agree with the kind lady who said she just kept going. It is truly addictive, and while I thought I would need a buffer fabric, rather than OBW, I found that I could have lived with that as well, but had already stitched some together and wouldn't have enough to make it big enough. My eyes aren't the greatest, so they need relief in the form of sashing, etc.

WOW, I've been toying with the idea of making a kaleidescope quilt. I need someone to hold my hand, lol. The quilt is just beautiful

Yeah, you have become hooked. What a great choice of fabric. It worked so well, scattered color and great pattern. The lime green with it is inspired. The black sets off your wonderful kaleidoscopes. Oh I could go on for ages listing all the things you did to make this one knock out of a a quilt.

I love the 60 degree triangles and usually I would say starch your fabric but with stack and whack you can distort your pattern so you can't do that. I use a walking foot and handle as gently as I can.
