Wow, I showed it to my Geeky DH and he is thoroughly impressed.

Now only is it a great looking quilt, it is a wonderful sentiment.

He will always be wrapped in your love.

Just had an idea for your next one or anyone else who wants to attempt this quilt.

Joann's sells fusible interfacing with 1 inch and 2 inch grids. Several years ago I took a cross stitch pattern and duplicated it with the 1 inch grid. Make sure you cut the squares a tiny bit smaller than the grid so that when you fold on the grid lines to sew, the edges of the fabric squares don't bulk up. (Ask me how I learned this!)

You are just soo clever and creative. It's gorgeous also. Loved the story to go with it. Shared the story with my mom also. We both love it and the idea behind it.!!!

Thanks so much everyone. Hubby shared the photo with the off shore group (India) that he manages. He asked them if anyone knew what it said. One person sent back I love you George. He asked if he saw it on my facebook account and the guy told him no that he scanned it. Hubby was impressed that it worked from a picture of the photo that was taken.

I just googled "qr code creator" and picked the first one that came up. I initially didn't include the "!" But didn't like the look of the code. Then also remembered all sentences need punctuation. So added the exclamation point.

It was a fun quilt to do. And believe me when I say I counted each row numerous times. No way was I going to have it not work.

Thanks again for all the kind words. You all make me blush!!! Hugs!
