    So sorry to hear about your wrist. I'm sure that is tough to look at this fabric and not be able to work on it. Hopefully you'll heal quickly. I can't wait to see what becomes of this material. I've been bit by the quilting bug since I joined this group! I don't always get to work in my sewing room as often as i would like because of other responsiblities, but I have gained a lot of desire just seeing what you all are doing. Hope you get to feel better soon.

    Sending wishes of speedy recovery to you. I like the dark with the light. I think it will make the colors pop very nicely.

    Looks like I will be in the minority with this comment, but I think I'd stay with a dark batik rather than getting out of batiks for just one fabric. My preference would be a deep purple but a black or chocolate brown would work great too. Broke my wrist several years ago; have a plate and 6 screws. Physical therapy made all the difference and though still feels a little different every once in awhile, it's not painful. Just needs a deep massage and some energetic wiggling!
