Really pretty quilt and such a pretty quilting motif in the border. I always learn something new with every project. I'm starting to write these things down wen I journal about the quilt. It's interesting to remember the first time I tried a new technique or learned something new about piecing or quilting. Thanks for sharing your lovely quilt.

Love the quilt, this past weekend DH and I were on Texas coast..found a quilt shop..in the shop was a quilt that was very similar to this one, except instead of the flowers, they had sewn onto a muslin piece all sizes and shapes of 1930 material and left the edges to fray. The pieces ranged from 2x2 to 3x4..a great way to use your scrapes with little trouble...and it looked to be a fast making quilt.
    Wished I would have taken a picture...but...

This is lovely! Next time, trace your quilting pattern onto Golden Threads Quilting Paper - it's lighter and will tear out without messing up your stitching.

Thanks for sharing the freezer paper tip. Sounds like something I would have tried. Nice quilt. Love the colors.

Love love this quilt. I have the pattern but haven't done it yet. Now that I know it is fairly simple I will try it. Thanks for sharing!
