I've been hesitating, but you all have convinced me: I'm going to take all my lovely fabrics that are crammed in boxes because I have been unable to clear the Horror Room enough to get them in there, and instead line my hallway with shallow shelves and create a Fabric Petting Zoo! If word gets out I may have to charge admission--payable in fabric, of course.

Hello, my name is Gina, and I am a fabric fondler.
My husband caught me hugging my sewing machine, he knows we are nuts! But I love my sewing machine and it also loves me, especially if I keep feeding it expensive thread and fabric!

I was never a fabric fondler until I happened onto this message board a few years ago and lo and behold I became a fabric fondler. Problem is, I just don't fondle quilting fabric, recently I have gotten back into constructing garments and now I even fondle that fabric too.....wo is me...roflmao!

Hi, I'm Carolynn, and I'm a fabric fondler and fabric collector. Sometimes I control my collecting, but once I buy the next new fabrics election, my life becomes unmanageable. When my stash collecting ramps up, I run out of storage space.

about 3 months ago, I decided to "manage" my quilting obsession by substituting needlepoint for some of my quilting. So now I'm building a needlepoint canvas and embroidery thread stash. I've also begun mixing my addictions by creating wall hangings that combine my needlepoint with quilting. The results are great and I'm having a wonderful time with my two obsessions.
