    Wow, just one layer cake? I love this. It's orderly, but perfectly scrappy. I'm adding this to my wish list. I better live to 100 like my g'pa, or I'll never get them all done. (60 years to go!)

    Thanks all!! My DH the engineer loves it but immediatly found the one square where the points don't match EXACTLY! It's such an encouragement to read your comments!!!! Last night created and attached the label with this quote, "Family ties are precious threads
    No matter where we roam
    They draw us close to those we love
    And pull our hearts to home."

    I can't wait to mail it on payday! The layer cake is Curio by Moda and the pattern is "Prismatic" from a book called Little Bits Quilting Bee.

    That is so thoughtful. Your lay out is so interesting. I like it. I have one of the traditional layouts in progress. But I have plenty of pre-cut scraps to make another your way!
