Your star is stunningly beautiful. I think the bubbles are pretty but your quilting will hide in them. You might consider the lighter fabric for the next round and quilt with a darker thread that pulls the color or colors from the star. By so doing you create a continuation of color and give an opportunity to complement the star. Maybe, even a multi-shaded thread in a thirty weight. Could you use the pretty bubble fabric in the binding?

Both are nice...I like A the best...like the way the beige brings out the color in the stars. Beautiful star!

I have to admit that I like the first one best, it seems to make the medallion stand out more to me.

I like the beige the best. The other fabric is pretty but takes away from the center

I really like the 2nd one. It makes the colors pop.

I also like 2 and the light blue color behind it goes perfectly!! Maybe the beige for the binding.

Number 2 is my choice, but like I just wrote in another thread, pick the one your eyes keep going back to.

I like the first option, it gives more of a rest so that the star stands out and I think it makes the middle paisley fabric of the lone star sections pop out.
