    I love your crazy quilt, I am sure there are lots of stories to go with all of the embellishments. Very interesting to look at.

    Just me, I made a sandwich of the backing and the warm and natural(about 25", the backing was 2" bigger on each side), Then I worked with one square at a time> The piecing was done right on the batting. Then when I finished them I used the quilt as you go method. finished the center, then I made up the outer border, quilted it and qayg it together, then scalloped the edges and bound it.
