    here is my first try. my button should have been larger or centered better. but it pressed nicely. I didn't starch my fabric first and should have. used Sew Pretty when I pressed it.

    Native Texan, I love it to....what size hexi did you start with? I am thinking these could be great centers for dresden plates. Think if I finish off edges of hexi's before making the flower, I could sew it down and it wash very well....

    I started with an 8 inch hexagon. the largest of those stacking card board type templates. Kaye Wood I think. anyway it ended up about 4 1/2 inch after folding. I saw one on top of a pin cushion that looked cute. maybe smaller would be better for that.

    Thanks for the info. Probably each will be about 1/2 size of original hexagon. Bet that pin cushion was pretty.
