I remember seeing the picture too. So I did a search. The picture you saw is probably from Quilter's Cache. The first link takes you to the general pattern page. The second is Eugene's version, like the one you made.

Wow, so glad you were able to finish it and share it with us. I love this take on storm at sea, beautiful design and great symbolism. Where did you get the pattern?
