I am both amazed and delighted with the response on this thread. Creative people can and are very thoughtful, kind, generous, inspiring, etc. No matter where we are on our personal journey, we can share our ideas and be respected by others. Taking good care of yourself need not be selfish. Just look at how many different ways we express our options! :-)

New sheer curtains with grommets and a fancy new rod and I cleaned up my desk and cutting table. Hadn't seen most of the glass desk top (big L shaped desk) in a looooong time.

today I bought a new red clock and some mirror tiles for the "playroom".
I love the way mirrors not only make rooms seem bigger, but they make me feel like there is more light in a room.
I love my room the way some people love a pet, lol
    (I love to pamper her!)

Put a set of plastic drawers under under my cutting table which allowed me to store scissors, rotary cutter, and a bunch of other stuff I had just laid on one end of the table. It looks so much better and the tools are much more convenient to reach. Also organized my rulers in a more convenient location. Hung a cute sewing machine clock DH gave me for Christmas. It really looks nice in there. Now it's time to mess it up again

I sorted through the pile of fabrics on the south end of my counter, sifted through every piece and arranged by color, texture.
Then I move the whole thing to the north end of my counter

I cleaned, organized and made new sewing machine cover. Totally unrelated but, I also made myself new pot holders for the kitchen. I had company until a week ago, so I had a late start at it. My favorite though was to go through every drawer and cabinet and get rid of the things I don't use anymore, and straighten them up. I have three boxes and two black trash bags full of things to take to the thrift shop.
