    Yes, they are machine appliqued down with a tiny zig zag and a light gray thread by aurifil. You can not see it unless you get your nose up close.

    I not usually drawn to hexies, but this quilt really speaks to me! It's gorgeous and the design and colors are awesome!

    I posted this because it was different from some I'd made and really thought it was pretty ordinary. Just goes to show that what you think is ordinary is someone else's beautiful!! Again, I appreciate the kind comments.
