I tried a pair of Kai 7250 scissors (10") that my mum has and I LOVE them. They are absolutely the best scissors I've ever used.

Edited: They are perfect for cutting leather so fabric is a breeze :)

I have 12 pairs of scissort, I have a thing for them. But the pair of Ginghers win the prize as the favorite.
My husband bought them as a Valentines gift about 25 years ago, he in fact went to a store to buy them the day before Valentines, the store was closed but the owner was there and he convinced her to open up just to sell him those scissors. She said she was so amazed that he knew about scissors (he had a few hints) that she couldn't turn him down.
And my son knows never to use them, he knows which ones are 'paper' scissors.

I've had a pair of black gingher for years. Use them only on material. Stay sharp and are great. Bought my neice a pair just recently.

I just don't understand why scissors have to have finger holes of different sizes and shapes. It just looks so wrong to me.

My grocery has some scissors on sale for 89 cents. I was thinking of getting them for cutting paper and things, as I now use all my scissors (1 pair haircutting shears, 1 small moustache cutters for thread and small cloth cutting and a pair of fingernail trimmers) for everything. But the handles are made of some yecchy synthetic material I hate to touch, in exactly the shade of bright, blarey red that I most dislike.
