    Yes, it is a pattern. The book is called "Early Bloomers" by Brenda Henning (Bear Paw Productions). There are 4 full size patterns in the book. It is not PP. It is fusible applique (I used Heat and Bond Lite) using Clover 1/4" fusible black bias tape as the leading in stained glass, stitched down w/a double needle. There are really quite easy. It is a SAYG pattern. When you are done stitching down the leading, it's done other than the binding. I do prefer binding them in the regular way. I've done 2 where you brought the backing forward as a binding. Regular binding stabilizes the edge and makes it hang better.
